Privacy policy
Data protection
Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our company. We want you to have a pleasant browsing experience on our pages without any unpleasant surprises.
On our website, you can enter your personal data on the „Contact“ page. This data is only stored for the processing and documentation of your enquiry. This data will only be passed on if this is necessary in order to process your enquiry. This data is not passed on to third parties for advertising purposes.
In addition, our internet service provider collects data in so-called log files during your visit. We thereby receive the name of your internet service provider, your IP address, the website from which you came to our website, the web pages that you visit on our site and the date, time and duration of your visit. This data is only used for statistical purposes. We do not establish a reference to a person.
We use cookies to store data on your computer during your visit to our website. Here, data is stored that optimises the display of the website and makes surfing more pleasant for you. The data is not analysed by us. You can also protect yourself from such cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your internet browser.
Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. („Google“). Google Analytics uses so-called „cookies“, which are text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
We would like to point out that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code „gat._anonymizeIp();“ in order to ensure an anonymised collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). However, this means that your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information in order to analyse your use of the website, compile reports about the website activity and provide the website operator with additional services related to the website usage and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data from Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.
You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB)
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking on the green „Analytics settings“ button. You can then choose whether to allow, deactivate or allow Google Analytics once. If you deactivate Google Analytics there, an opt-out cookie will be set that prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website. For more information about the terms of use and the privacy policy, please visit https://policies.google.com/?hl=en-GB&gl=de.
Use of buttons with links to social networks
On our website, we use buttons with links to our Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Xing and LinkedIn presences. These buttons do not transmit any data to the aforementioned social networks. Only when you click on the buttons will you leave our web pages and be redirected to our pages in the social networks you have clicked on. You are then no longer on our website, but on the websites of the social networks you clicked on. Depending on your settings in your browser or in the social network, personal data about you will be collected there. The conditions for this can be found in the privacy policies of the social networks you clicked on, for which we cannot assume any responsibility. We have refrained from using Facebook „Like“ buttons on our website, as they would already collect data about you even if you have not yet clicked on these buttons. If you would like to express your liking for us via this method, we would be very pleased. To do so, simply click on our button with the link to Facebook. You will then find a „Like“ button on our Facebook fan page. We refrain from integrating social media scripts for data protection reasons, as the social media services use tracking methods in the background. We are of course pleased if you like our posts on our blog and if you would like to share them on social media. For this purpose, we have added share buttons for Twitter, Facebook and Google+ after the posts. When you click the buttons, you will be notified that the social media will load analysis scripts in the background to record user behaviour. Only if you agree to this will the corresponding scripts be uploaded and the post be shared.
Legal basis
The legal basis for data processing on this website is the EU General Data Protection Regulation. The data will only be stored for as long as is necessary for the above-mentioned purposes or as required by law.
Use of Typekit fonts
We use Typekit fonts on our website. This allows us to integrate certain fonts into our website. These fonts are provided by Adobe via servers in the USA. When calling up our website, the visitor’s web browser establishes a direct connection to these servers. In this process, the visitor’s IP address, among other things, is transmitted to Adobe and stored there. Adobe participates in the EU-US Privacy Shield: www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework
More information about Adobe: Adobe Systems Incorporated, 45 Park Avenue, San Jose, California 95110, USA
Further information on data protection when using Typekit, please visit: https://www.adobe.com/uk/privacy/policies/adobe-fonts.html
